Collaboration with community businesses and industries is paramount in achieving the goal of preparing students for the next step. Local businesses are asked to offer workplace experiences through a variety of ways: nine-week internships, business and industry tours, speakers in the classroom, job shadowing, and work experience. Bemidji Career Academies would like to establish local business partners within six established Career Academies and future Academies. The six Academies ready to launch this upcoming school year include: Business Management Academy; Light, Sound & Video Academy; Project Lead the Way (Engineering) Academy; Health Care Academy, and Construction Trades Academy. An additional seven Career Academies are in draft form with the plan to launch in the near future.

We are ready to broaden the opportunities at Bemidji High School! We want to see more and more students’ benefit from collaboration, free college credit while in high school, focused curriculum, and the “real-world” experience Bemidji Career Academies provide. Would your business benefit by becoming a business partner? Please contact us and we can discuss the benefits of becoming a business partner.
